About the Founder

Rivka Shemesh, M.S., OTR/L

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Rivka Shemesh, and I’m a pediatric occupational therapist with a deep passion for early childhood development. I graduated from CUNY York College in 2019 and have since worked in various school settings, including regional schools and specialized programs for students with disabilities. My experience spans working with children ages 3 to 21 in school-based environments, as well as providing home-based and early intervention services for infants and toddlers ages 0 to 3.

While I’ve enjoyed working with children of all ages, I found myself especially drawn to the littlest ones. Their curiosity, openness, and vast potential captured my heart, leading me to focus exclusively on early childhood.

Today, my mission is to empower children and their families by providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy that builds confidence and foundational skills for lifelong success. I believe every child deserves the chance to shine, and I’m committed to helping them overcome obstacles and achieve their milestones.

When I’m not working, you can find me exploring local parks or farms with my girls, reading about child development, or experimenting with a new recipe.

I look forward to being part of your child’s journey and supporting your family every step of the way.
